All You Need To Know

Can I receive the treatment if I’m pregnant? Unfortunately, due to the extended period of lying down and the use of essential oils, this treatment is not recommended during pregnancy.

I have hair extensions—can I still have the treatment? We strongly advise against this treatment if you have hair extensions, as it involves significant scalp stimulation, brushing, and debris removal. However, it is an excellent option to consider between fittings to rejuvenate your scalp in preparation for your next set of extensions.

Is blow drying included in the treatment? Due to the gentle, restorative nature of the Japanese Head Spa treatment—which includes a deep scalp cleanse—only towel drying is included. This allows your scalp to dry naturally, minimising any potential sensitivity or irritation.If you prefer to blow dry your hair, hairdryers are available in our changing rooms. However, we recommend using a low heat setting, as your scalp may be more delicate following the treatment.
